Two applications provide the solution
ACEmessage is the program which SENDS messages to users desktops. The application is installed on the desktop like any normal application and contains the ability to create/send messages and manage groups. ACEmessage allows many different options for sending messages and gives the user very granular control of how their message is displayed and reported. Likewise, the user interface for ACEmessage has been designed with simplicity in mind. You can send a message distributions in three simple steps. Typically, you would install ACEmessage onto computers where you want the ability to SEND messages (i.e. Helpdesks, Marketing teams, Alarm Monitors etc). ACE Client is the program which is installed onto ALL of your desktop computers. It RECEIVES messages sent from ACEmessage. It runs on the RECEIVING computer as a Service. Once a message is received by ACE Client it displays the message for the currently logged on user. The user has no control over ACE Client once installed (No interface visible) in Silent Mode. Interactive Mode allows the user to right click the icon in the system tray for further options.
