ACEmessage Licensing

As you would have noticed on our Products page, we have two applications which provide your desktop alert solution.  As both applications are separate, we decided to sell packs of licenses which suit most business needs.  This page is divided up into three areas, we recommend you read them all for a complete understanding:

License Information

Licenses are sold as packs, a pack contains a number of Sending (ACEmessage) Licenses, and a number of Receiving (ACE Client) Licenses.  Each of these license types are explained below.  Therefore a pack is a collection of licenses.

To find out which pack is best for your company you simply have to figure out:

Q: How many Computers in your Company need to SEND messages?
Q: How many Computers in your Company need to RECEIVE messages?

Sending Licenses

A Sending License entitles you to install ACEmessage onto one Computer.  This license can be used by multiple users on that same computer.  An ACEmessage License is required to SEND messages.  Each Install of ACEmessage must be activated over the web after the 30 day free trial period.  If ACEmessage is not activated after this time then ACEmessage will not function.

** Enterprise License Package does not require any activation, see below for further details.

Receiving Licenses

A Receiving License entitles you to install ACE Client onto one Computer.  This license can be used by multiple users on that same computer.  An ACE Client License is required to RECEIVE messages.  ACE Clients DO NOT require any activation or intervention, as this is handled within the ACEmessage (Sending) application.  When you purchase your License Pack you will be given an ACE Client License Key.  This Key will need to be installed into each ACEmessage (Sending) Computer.

License Packs

As we sell ACEmessage and ACE Client Licenses combined, we group them into packs.  These packs outline how many computers can SEND and RECEIVE messages.  Some packs (such as the Enterprise Pack) have special features which are also listed.

Basic Package

Offers 2 x ACEmessage (Sending) Licenses, and up to 200 x ACE Client (Receiving) Licenses.  This package is suitable for organisations which have a small desktop population.  This package is favoured by small offices and businesses.

Business Package

Offers 10 x ACEmessage (Sending) Licenses, and up to 1000 x ACE Client (Receiving) Licenses.  This package is suitable for organisations which have a small to medium desktop population.  It is our most popular package and also gives most businesses room for growth of their receiving client population.

Platinum Package

Offers 50 x ACEmessage (Sending) Licenses, and up to 5000 x ACE Client (Receiving) Licenses.  This package is suitable for large organisations which have large desktop population requirements.

Enterprise Package

Offers Unlimited ACEmessage (Sending) Licenses, and Unlimited ACE Client (Receiving) Licenses.  This package is suitable for Enterprise organisations which have very high desktop population requirements.  Additional benefits of the Enterprise License are:

- Unique MSI/EXE Files provided for your Company
