ACEmessage Licensing

As you would have noticed on our Products page, we have two applications which provide your desktop alert solution.  Both applications are licensed separately which provides greater flexibility to suit your requirements.

Below we describe standard licensing.  For companies who have large number requirements we offer an Enterprise Licence.  Please Contact Us for further details on Enterprise Licensing.  Enterprise Licensing offers advantages over standard licensing such as;  Logo Branding, No Activation Codes and Unlimited installs (Both products).

We suggest you read the below carefully to understand the license requirements for your company.  Use the links on the right for further detailed information.  The User Guide also offers a more detailed look at licensing, with examples provided.
 

The SENDING part of the system, ACEmessage is required to be on computers which need to SEND messages to your computers.  ACEmessage is the 'hub' of control/management and creation of your messages.

Each computer which has ACEmessage installed requires an ACEmessage License.  The license is locked to the computer (not the user).

How Does The License Work?
When your 30-day evaluation expires you will be prompted for an Activation Code.  In order to get this Activation Code you must order a license.  Once we process your order we email you details on your Activation Code.
 

What is a TermixID?
A termixID is a unique code generated by the computer when ACEmessage is installed.  We provide your Activation Code which corresponds to your termixID (Therefore your Activation Code will only work on that computer, no other).  See the FAQ section for more details on termixID's.
 

If the License is locked to the computer, can I move it later?
Yes, we understand that software occasionally requires moving.  Therefore if you need to move your ACEmessage license to another computer you can simply login to our license server (Details provided when order processed) and allocate the license to another computer.

What is the Cost for an ACEmessage License?
We operate a sliding scale, so depending on how many you purchase the price varies.  You can find out the exact cost for your company by visiting the License Calculator page.  This will also break down the sliding scale, you can also request an Official Quote.

The RECEIVING part of the system, ACE Client is required on computers which need to RECEIVE messages.

Each computer which has ACE Client installed requires an ACE Client License.  ACE Client Licenses are purchased in 'packs' of 100 and can be combined to meet your companies requirements.

How Does The License Work?
ACE Client License Packs are installed ON the ACEmessage computers which send the messages.  When ACEmessage sends a message to an ACE Client computer it checks to see if that computer has a valid ACE Client License.

Do I have to manually install a license for EACH ACE Client computer?
No, ACE Client License Packs are installed on the ACEmessage computers.  ACEmessage then centrally manages the license allocation.

How are the ACE Client License Packs installed?
Each pack purchased comes with a unique License Key.  These License Keys are added via the ACEmessage Client License area.  Once added you can then message using those licenses instantly.

How many ACE Clients come in a License Pack?
You get 100 ACE Clients Per License Pack.  And you can purchase as many packs as your company requires.  Or purchase additional packs at a later date due to expansion.

Do I need to purchase License Packs for EACH computer with ACEmessage?
No, you only need to purchase the amount of license packs which cover your installed ACE Client computers.

For example, if you have:

• 4 x ACEmessage Computers (For SENDING)

• 300 x ACE Client computers (For RECEIVING)

You only need to purchase 3 x ACE Client License Packs (100 clients per pack).  You can then install these 3 packs on ALL 4 ACEmessage computers.
